You can choose whether to print patterns including the dashed seam allowance, or if you want your pattern without a seam allowance, which is useful for making alterations to the pattern or to add your own seam allowance. Use the layers feature in Adobe reader.

Recommended fabric
selection Jersey with about 60 stretch, and ribbing for binding.
Difficulty
Easy and beginner-friendly.
Sewing techniques
Raw edges of the dress, around the neck and armholes are binded, manually or by using a bias binder.
You may use a regular sewing machine, or an overlock and coverstitch.

Adobe reader layer function
You can choose to print single sizes at a time to avoid tracing the pattern from the paper.
In Adobe reader, click on the left of the ”layer”, and check the sizes you don’t want to print by clicking on the eye next to it.
MW patterns also offers layered seam allowance, which allows you to choose including or excluding seam allowance.
The seam allowance appears as a black dotted line around the pattern.
Note that the seam allowance feature is not available on the earliest patterns from MW patterns, where the patterns are excluding seam allowance.

TAPE OR GLUE A PDF PATTERN
The pattern files are designed to avoid the usual cutting of paper edges before gluing/tapes them together.
Print, patch over a page on the corresponding page, glue or tape, finished! More time to sew! 🙂
The pages contain pass lines and numbered pages with numbers and letters to know which page to be placed where.
Start with the first page (the one with the test square) and continue to the right, and then start below the first page, further to the right, and so on.. For image caption, please refer to Tutorials -Other.
